Family Session Guide
I'm so glad you reached out! My way of capturing families is done through natural interactions and documentary style story telling. I thrive on natural family interactions, playful moments, and a go with the flow vibe. I've let go of trying to find the perfect pose and plan for every session, because not every family/child has the same story. The majority of your session all I ask of you is to embrace one another, have fun and stay connected…with touch, locking eyes, smiles and kisses! Love on each other like you would if you were at home snuggled on your couch! Don’t stress if your kids aren’t doing what you think they should be doing, instead I like to let them take the lead. Things like playing follow the leader, airplane rides, picking flowers, throwing rocks in the water....all these simple things make for great memories.
During our time together I will gently guide you through your session to get the best interactions but I will also completely step back and let your story naturally unfold. Your images will show the tender connection, the playful giggles, and the fire that burns inside. I feel the most powerful images come from a mother caressing her children and dad playing with them Bring me all your craziness, your loud and quiet, and true emotions....I'm here to document it all. And lastly, PLEASE JUST COME TO HAVE FUN! This is not meant to be a stressful experience…rather a beautiful one.
All family sessions take place outdoors 1-2 hrs before/after sunset or sunrise and in the Appleton/Green Bay area. If you have your heart set on a further location we can discus that option as well. Common questions found on the q&a page on my website.
Wardrobe adds such a valuable component to the way you will view your images. The colors will breathe life into the image, whether it be warm and colorful, or calm and peaceful.. The textures, layers, patterns, and accessories…it is all such an important element and I want to help you pull all these pieces together! For further ease I offer a client closet with dresses for mom and toddler clothing. My closet is always growing and I welcome you to make an appointment before your session to come try on anything. You will also receive a styling link to help make styling for your session a breeze.
Family
Family sessions are all inclusive and come with a print release, styling assistance and access to client closet. Sessions are done Monday-Friday 1-2 hours before/after sunset or sunrise. Weekend sessions are scheduled on a limited basis so please do not wait to schedule your session. Immediate and extended family sessions are offered. *All sessions are all inclusive meaning digital images with print release are included. Option to purchase additional images, custom art work and prints/albums is available after your session.
Family & Maternity sessions include a curated gallery, where the photographer will include all your best images.
If you feel we are a good match and our styles align please take the next step in preserving your most precious memories. Head over and view the quote I have sent your way. Once you have accepted your quote an invoice, contract and list of open dates will be sent your way to complete the booking process. A deposit of $150 will be needed at the time of booking to secure your date and will be applied to your final invoice. To customize your session a questionnaire will be sent out to get to know you better to help decide on locations and the energy your family will bring. I truly can't wait to capture your story and tailor this session to fit your families vibe.
